Arts and Crafts Exhibit coming April 14th

Arts and Crafts is featuring a watercolor exhibit for you by artist Karen Amicarelli.  The hanging exhibit in the Cribari conference room will take place on April 14th.  These watercolors are a well-chosen compilation of her work.  The exhibit covers a colorful, eclectic, and thoughtful selection.  We did a feature bio on Karen a few months ago when she was submitting one of her paintings for the members juried show.

To summarize that bio, when Karen moved here about 3 years ago, she immersed herself in our Arts and Crafts Club and has been helping and assisting our club the entire time.  She is quite an accomplished watercolor artist.  Some of her painting techniques are the result of guidance from Jane Hink in open studios and other classes she has taken dating back to the 90's.  She is skillful, deliberate, and professional.  If the mood strikes Karen, she may take inspiration from her own photos or from her favorite artist, Georgia O'Keefe.

You will not be disappointed in your viewing experience for this exhibit.   Bright floral is complemented with subdued floral.  The landscape work is as real as can be.  Also featured, animal and still life round out the 12 hangings she is showing, all of which are beautifully framed.

This exhibit will be available for viewing until August 11th.  There will be many events and other chances to walk into the Cribari Conference room to see these excellent watercolors.  Don't miss this opportunity over the next few months to see her inviting watercolors.
