Spend the day with Beauty

Join us at the Pacific Orchid and Garden Exposition featuring thousands of orchids which will be held at the Hall of Flowers in San Francisco February 24th.  This ‬year's show theme: “Big Ideas for Small Gardens" will have a special a focus on learning about pollination and helping plants thrive in apartments, on windowsills and in city environments.  Gather tips on how to maintain the perfect orchid, bring home some gorgeous flowers, and learn tips how to photograph what you see.

Following our excursion day, contact Karen Honaker to learn about how to turn those photographs into watercolor paintings.‬‬‬

Sign up at the Community Activities office starting January 16.‬  Tickets include the bus, departing at 8:15‬, entry into the Orchid Show, and a San Francisco lunch, $79.  Limited to 24 people.‬‬‬‬‬‬We must have a full bus to make this possible.  Eight (8)  more participants are needed.

This trip is sponsored by the Villages Arts and Crafts and the Community Activities office.  For more information, please call Karen Honaker, 408- 238-1448 or Ruth DePonzi in the Community Activities Office, 408-223-4644.
