Card-Making Group for Card Makers and Card Maker Wannabes!

Calling all card makers and card maker wannabes!

We are creating a card-making group at the Villages!  

Bring your usual card-making supplies to every meeting to make your own cards, including paper/card stock, dies and stamps. Come and learn something new or experiment with new tools or teach us how to create something different! We'll have a focus for each meeting; see schedule below. Please bring stamps or die cuts related to the theme that you would be willing to let others use. We will meet on the first and third Fridays of the month, in the Forum Room in Cribari Center, from 9:30 pm to 12:30pm.

Meeting dates and topics:

Friday, September 5, 9:30-12:30 - make a box to hold a set of cards for a gift; we'll share where to get favorite supplies. If you have a scoring board and bone folder, please bring it as well as 2 - 8 1/2 x 11 pieces of heavy card stock and strong adhesive tape.

Friday, September 19, 9:30-12:30 - note cards or Thank You cards to make for yourself or a gift. Bring flower-themed stamps and dies to share.

Friday, Ocober. 3, 17, 9:30-12:30 - Christmas/Holiday cards; fun fold techniques. Bring holiday and winter-themed dies and stamps to share.

Friday,  November 7, 21, 9:30-12:30 - finish Holiday cards, make Thank You cards. Bring dies and stamps that will work for both or either to share.

Friday,  December 5, 9:30-12:30 - New Year's or Birthday. Bring celebration- and birthday-themed dies and stamps to share.
