Arts and Crafts Demo and Membership meeting and Election Voting                    

Vice President Claudia Welch welcomed everyone and made sure Pimei Huang received recognition for the fantastic watercolors of her one-person exhibit. Since neither she nor Parthenia could conduct the election because they were on the nominated slate, Barbara asked for the votes with Colleen as a secondary counter.

Elected for 2026 - 2027 were Parthenia Hicks, President; Claudia Welch, Vice President; Stephanie Torres, Secretary; Suzanne Ferris, Treasurer.

Many thanks to the 42 loyal members who came out on Monday to make sure we had the 10% of our 291 person membership which The Villages requires for official club elections.  We were so impressed with their enthusiasm, although Tony said the suspense was killing him!

Parthenia Hicks took Michael's place as Programs Chair and introduced Guest Artist Stephanie Torres who demonstrated her process for making wreaths.  She exhibited a plethora of wreaths she will have ready for Holiday Faire.  From Hallowe'en to July 4th to Christmas, she creates wreaths for all occasions.  Diane Rubin was the lucky winner of the door prize - a Torres wreath for all seasons!
